At the party, the OSIEPE Yes! Program was officially launched. The Convener of the youth group, Mrs Jenice Omollo, gave a brief background of the group and highlighted their activities to date including online scoping for activities and recently conducted and very successful training on ICT for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She also introduced the member and officials of the group present at the party. The group was launched by a being given “the elders’ blessing” by a team of senior members of OSIEPE and invited guests. They were reminded to stay focused and be the future of the organization. Emphasis was made on their role as innovators and entrepreneurs that would see to the sustainability of OSIEPE.
On the 31st December 2015, all roads led to Mr and Mrs Caroli Omondi Nyumba’s home in Mashambani – Chemelil for the 2015 end-of-year party. The party, which represents the final program for OSIEPE every year was as usual, a learning event where members and invited guests took stock of major achievements, key lessons and gave new impetus for 2016 activities. It has become a customary practice since 2011 to hold such gathering to not only celebrate successes but also consolidate gains and address emerging challenges to the realization of OSIEPE dreams. Mr Caroli Omondi took the occasion to welcome members to his homestead, highlight the key achievements at the homestead with respect to each pillar. He singled out benefits from the organization that have accrued to his household including home improvement (fencing, permanent house construction, environmental management, education for children and agriculture (especially milk cows and poultry) that the family has put in place using loans, knowledge and capacity gained form OSIEPE. He used the opportunity to introduce his wife Susan and Children to the gathering while encouraging members to involve all their household members in OSIEPE.

The 2015 OSIEPE Practical Action ® Annual General Meeting was held at St Peters Menara Secondary School on 22nd December 2015. The AGM is the apex decision making organ and event in the annual calendar of the organization. The meeting was attended by 45 members of the CBO from all nuclei. The AGM is a formal business meeting that considers previous AGM/Quarterly meeting minutes, receives reports from key committees for information and adoption. The meeting’s main agenda item was the chairman’s annual report which is discussed at length and key recommendations, targets for the 2016 were set. The main highlights of the AGM were:
