Mama Rosebella Wariero
My name is Mama Rosebella Wariero, a member of OSIEPE Practical Action in Amani Nucleus. I have benefited a great deal by being a member of this unique organization. I have taken loan three times, based on my shares, and repaid back promptly. With my first loan, I connected electricity to my house. I am a widow but I do not have to depend on my children working in the cities. With my second loan, I put up a sugarcane farm now waiting to be harvested and taken to local milling factory for payment. With my third loan, I paid university fees for my daughter who is studying at Kenyatta University. I have benefited also through training on improved agricultural technology and value chain development. I a want to take my fourth loan with which I will expand my poultry and dairy units. I will improve the housing structures to the required standards and increase number of poultry from my current 15 to gradually over 500. I am also the vice-chair of the CBO and I am proud of being a member. Click for a video clip of my story
